Hot ‘N Spicy Super Wings

  • 12 chicken wings (about 4 pounds)
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons or hot sauce or pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 1 jar of Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing or Marie’s Creamy Ranch Dressing


Remove tips from wings and discard. Cut remaining wings in half at joints and pat dry with paper towels; sprinkle lightly with salt. Pour 2 inches of oil in a deep-fat-fryer and heat to 350º F, Fray a few wings at a time for 6 to 7 minutes or until golden on all sides. Drain on paper towels, then place in a large bowl. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in hot sauce or pepper sauce and ketchup; pour over wings and toss until well coated. Serve hot with Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese or Marie’s Creamy Ranch dressing for dipping.

Cooks Tips: To turn up the heat add half a teaspoon of pepper sauce to the Marie’s Dressing
