Steamed Artichoke with Lite Blue Cheese

  • 1 large artichoke
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup Marie’s Lite Blue Cheese Dressing


Trim artichoke stem and top of artichoke about 1 inch.  You can also trim the tip of the petals with scissors.  Steam artichoke stem side upon high using steamer rack with 2 inches of water for 45 minutes or until tender.  Toss garlic in with artichoke to steam as well.  Serve artichoke with a dollop of Marie’s Lite Blue Cheese Dressing on top and the remaining blue cheese dressing in a side dish for dipping. 


Tip: Use broth or white wine in water to steam artichoke for extra flavor.
