Fresh Green Salad with Applewood-Smoked Bacon

  • 4 slices applewood-smoked bacon, chopped
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 (6 oz) bag of salad greens
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 Red Delicious apple, diced
  • ¼ cup Marie’s Red Wine Vinaigrette 
  • ¼ crumbled gorgonzola cheese


Cook bacon and chopped shallots in a large skillet until browned. Chop bacon into bits with shallots. In large bowl, combine greens, celery, apple, bacon and shallots and toss with Marie’s Red Wine Vinaigrette. Sprinkle with gorgonzola cheese to finish.
