Spinach and Steak Salad with Sweet Onions

  • 2 (5-ounce) bags baby spinach
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 1/4 pounds boneless top sirloin steak, trimmed of fat, thinly sliced
  • 2 sweet onions, sliced
  • 3/4 cup Marie’s Premium Spinach Salad Dressing
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste


Place spinach and red pepper on large serving platter or divide between four plates.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat in large skillet. Sauté steak quickly until medium rare. Remove from pan.

Add remaining oil to skillet. Sauté onion slices until softened and translucent. Stir in Marie’s Spinach Salad Dressing, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Drain reserved meat; quickly stir meat into onions. Spoon over spinach; serve immediately.
